Funerals In Northop and Northop Hall

Funerals in Northop
It is always a privilege to be of assistance to relatives at these times.
Funeral services are usually arranged through a funeral director so if you would like your loved one's service held in one of our churches, or would like the Vicar to take a service at a crematorium, ask your funeral director to contact us.

There are currently a small number of spaces remaining for new graves in the churchyard at Northop. These cannot be reserved in advance.  Burials in the churchyard are generally restricted to residents of the Parish, members of the Church, relatives of those already interred here or others with long- standing connections with the Church.
Northop also has a beautiful plot for the burial of ashes. These burials are not marked with memorial stones but a careful record is kept of the location of interments.

Planning permission for new ashes burial space with headstones is being applied for.

Northop Church also has a memorial book in which the names of the departed can be recorded. We ask for a £30 donation to cover the cost of calligraphy.
Please ask for more information.

Memorial plaques are no longer permitted to be installed in the churches, but individual items of furniture or decoration may be donated or purchased for the church according to certain Church in Wales guidelines. More information and advice on planning a funeral service will appear here soon.

If you would like any help planning your own funeral service in advance, this can be of great help to your relatives when that time comes, and our Pastoral Minister Ken Massey, would always be willing to help you leave instructions or talk through any of the issues surrounding death and dying, either privately or with your family. You can contact him on 01352 732456. or 07480475526
